The ISAE-SUPAERO Master of Science degree program is internationally renowned and highly regarded as an innovative program in science and technologies

Objectifs

The Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering is intended to educate graduate students in subjects relevant to the demanding challenges and needs of the industry.

Endowing students with skills in engineering science, technology and design as they relate to aeronautics and space, the MSc AE program is designed to be multi-disciplinary preparing future engineers to easily and efficiently work on aeronautical systems, space systems and their applications, with a focus on the complete life cycle of the system. The MSc AE program takes in a wide spectrum of knowledge, enabling students to tackle various aspects from design to operating products and systems either in research organization or in a aerospace company in a multinational environment.

Admission

Conditions d'admission

The applicants must hold the following degrees:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent, in the following fields: mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace, electronics, electrical systems, telecommunications, etc.
  • Or French licence in Science and Engineering.

Students holding a degree in mathematics or physics may also apply.

Programme

A MULTIDISCIPLINARY CURRICULUM

FULLY TAUGHT IN ENGLISH - 4 SEMESTERS WITH 30 ECTS EACH

The first semester of the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering program focuses on the common core curriculum, while the second semester offers a wide choice of electives. In the third semester, students choose one of the seven majors in the main areas of aeronautical ans space systems design.

Students complete a master's thesis in the fourth semester

Master Aerospace Systems - Navigation and Telecommunications

The Master of Science in GNSS, Global Navigation Satellite System, defines a satellite-based system that allows autonomous positioning and navigation of a suitably equipped user everywhere and at all times.

The Master of Science (MSc) in GNSS is a 2-year programme offering advanced education in Satellite-based Positioning and Space Telecommunications.

It aims at training students for the steadily growing GNSS industry.

MASTER OF SCIENCE : ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS FOR EMBEDDED AND COMMUNICATING APPLICATIONS

2 internships (6 weeks + 6 months) in a laboratory or a company. One individually tutored project in a research team (100h tutoring), plus several project with small groups of students.

Master International Air Transport System Engineering and Design

Pour vous permettre de maîtriser au mieux la problématique, vous suivrez un ensemble de formations complémentaires en ingénierie des systèmes (ingénierie des besoins, vérification et validation, conception, Soutien logistique, sécurité et sûreté...), en ingénierie du logiciel (architecture, développement, test...) ainsi que sur les systèmes du domaine du transport aérien (aéronefs, système de contrôle du trafic, aéroport, contraintes des normes et certifications...).

Grâce à l'implication de nombreux partenaires industriels du domaine, que ce soit au moment de l'élaboration du programme, dans sa mise en œuvre ainsi que par l'offre de stages et de projets, une part importante du cursus sera consacrée à la mise en application de connaissances sur des projets concrets. Ce sera l'occasion mettre en œuvre concrètement et de développer les processus techniques ainsi que de management, le tout dans un contexte multidisciplinaire. Vous serez familiarisés avec les standards et pratiques internationales telles que recommandées par l'INCOSE (International Council of System Engineering) et le PMI (Project Institute Management).
