This course allows EPS students:
1) To define the concept of "project"
2) To transform an idea into a planning
3) To know the basic tools of project management (WBS structure, PERT, GANTT)
4) To estimate and measure the workload associated with a task
5) To master document management in a project.

As part of the follow-up of EPS projects, students must carry out:
- a 40-page report and a 30-minute presentation after 7/8 weeks,
- a 60-page report and a 30-minute presentation after 15 weeks.
All reports and presentations are reviewed by a jury composed of 3/4 people (ENIT lecturers and teachers, EPS providers, guests) chosen by the Chairman (EPS coordinator).

Each EPS project addresses different scientific fields. However, the goal is the same for all EPS students: to be able to find technical solutions as a team in order to answer to the end-client's requirements.
In this frame, EPS students must :
- clarify the requirements from the end-client,
- design virtual or real solutions using appropriated tools
- realize prototypes using technical machines (3D printer, robot and so on).
